The V19-16 is designed for digital experiment control along with analog signal capture. The A/D converter section not as robust as the either the Dataq or National instruments ports listed here which are designed to acquire data for analog scrolling.
The unit features 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs, three programmable timers with hardware or software start and stop, an 8-channel A/D converter and 4 analog outputs.
This module was designed for use with Coulbourn applications software. It is currently the control port for the Human Startle and Animal Acoustic Startle Software Programs. Coulbourn will write future applications for this port.
For users writing their own special purpose software, we will be happy to provide drivers.
