PROGRAMMABLE TONE/NOISE GENERATOR - REQUIRES SPEAKER
PROGRAMMABLE TONE/NOISE GENERATOR - REQUIRES SPEAKER
Contact our Behavioral Research Specialists for more information

The A12-33 Programmable Audio Signal Generator, a tone/noise generator that can be both manually and programmatically controlled with Graphic State. This unit delivers any frequency between 50 Hz and 20 kHz and White Noise (20 Hz to 20 KHz). Tone Frequencies as well as tone and white noise amplitudes can be set manually or programmed via individual 0 to 2.5 Volt DC voltages. There are seven rise/fall settings for both tone and white noise from 1 msec to 100 msec. The onset and duration of the stimuli are controlled using a 5 to 30 Volt DC signal. This device includes an amplifier for driving 8 ohm speakers. An external input allows remote auditory signals to be passed through this amplifier so the onset and duration of the remote signal can be controlled in the same manner as the tone and white noise stimuli generated by the A12-33.

This devices is available in two versions:
  • A12-33 -> PROG. TONE/NOISE GENERATOR 110V
  • A12-33-220 -> PROG. TONE/NOISE GENERATOR 220V

This stimulus device is an in-line PC board that connects to the H12-01M, H12-01R or other speakers.  It contains a tone generator, amplifier, and shaped rise audio switch.  It is controlled via one of the triple cue connectors and has an output connector for a speaker. A 3-bit binary code on the triple cue input produces 7 tones from 1 KHz to 4 KHz in increments of 500 Hz.
