Our New Headquarters and Shipping Address
Due to the continued growth at Coulbourn Instruments, we have moved into larger facilities. We want to thank those who are most responsible for this growth, you, our customers, for making this possible. To better serve our customers, our new location offers about twice the space (25,000 square feet) of our previous building. This allows us to provide ample manufacturing, office, and laboratory spaces. The phone numbers, fax number, and e-mail addresses have not changed but please note our new address: Coulbourn Instruments · 5583 Roosevelt Street · Whitehall, PA 18052 |

Controlled-Access Lickometer and Nose Poke Modules
Two new additions to our line of behavioral research products are the Controlled-Access Nose Poke and Controlled-Access Lickometer. Both offer programmable and manual control to a door at the entry point of these modules. Limiting the subject's ability to access a Nose Poke response operandum or Lickometer module affords an experimenter greater control during conditioning experiments. The use of a door to block the entry to the Lickometer eliminates the problem experienced with other units where the photo cell becomes misaligned due to the mechanical movement of the tube. A control switch that is accessible from outside the cage located at the top of these units provides an override so the door is automatically raised and lowered. |
Human Measurement Software Packages
Script Driven Imagery
Our Script Driven Imagery software package is one of the core protocols that comprise our Human Measurement Systems. The software is available for both our LabLinc V and Portable Physiology Platform (P3) systems. Script Driven Imagery is a widely used testing procedure for Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD) caused by a variety of factors. Positive, neutral, and negative (stress inducing) audio scripts are created for each subject related to the specific factors that may be causing PTSD. In addition to the physiological parameters that are recorded, the software includes eleven scales for the subject's self-report. |
